He is survived by: his children, John Owen McGill of Scottdale, Bobbie Lynn Sirianni (Domenic) of Scottdale and Misty Ansell of West Mifflin; his grandchildren, Morgan Barlet (Eric) of Farmington Hills, MI, Mackenzie McGill of Alverton and Shaughn Cravens of West Mifflin; his siblings, Kathryn Martin (Bernie) of Peryopolis, Mary Hazelbaker of Fayette City, Donna Petronie of Smock, Ronald McGill (Izetta) of Waltersburg, PA, Donald McGill (Kathy), Vanderbilt, Thomas McGill of Smock and Robert McGill (Helen) of Smock; his sister-in-law Cindy McGill of Waltersburg, PA; his close friend Barb Steindl; and his caregivers, Denise Thompson, Loretta Sickle and Amanda Cichocki.
