He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Layton and Julia D. Loya Layton. He is survived by: his wife Caroline S Hall Layton; his daughters, Rhonda Martray (Bob) of Leisenring, Julie Kochuga (Joe) of Ligonier and Samantha Pletcher (Dave) of Dickerson Run; his grandchildren, Christopher, Miranda, Mia Martray, Jonathan, Jakob Kochuga, Chloe and Olivia Pletcher; his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Emery; his sister-in-law Peggy Layton; and his siblings, Edward Layton, James E Layton and Rosalind Quinn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
