He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Kring and Mildred Nicholson Kring; his significant other Velma Fortune; and his siblings, Charolette Davidson and Lester Kring.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marcy Vasko (Tim) of Elizabeth and Sherry Kring (Jennifer Gold) of Pittsburgh; his stepchildren, Paula Hatter (Denny) of Connellsville and Scott Fortune (Lynn Hilton) of Montana; his grandchildren, Cody Damon (Matt), Dylan Vasko, Caroline Benec and Ella Benec; his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Klein (Scott), Erik Hatter (Joshua Simon) and Melinda Miller (Nick); and his sisters, Polly Basinger of South Connellsville, Audrey Fesh (Mike) of Everson, Janet Malago (Bernie) of Phoenixville and Sharon Shoemaker of Phoenixville. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
