He is survived by: his wife Melanie Pritts Smith; his siblings, Betty Ruby (Rod) of Latrobe and Robert Smith (Laura) of Wauseon, Ohio; his sisters-in-law, Lucille Smith of Buckeye, AZ and Beverly Marker; and his pet Elsa.
