He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Olafsen and Anna Denno Olafsen; and his siblings, Walter Freeland and Barbara Freeland Dare. He is survived by: his wife Cathleen A. Olafsen (Pergine); his children, Michelle Smith, Nicole Cobb (Jack), Sarah Alleva (Michael), Stephanie Olafsen, Harry Olafsen (Christopher) and Hannah Lynch (Blaze); his grandchildren, Destiny, Shelby, Taylor, Logan, Bellatrix, Narcissa and Kai; his great grandchildren, Zakari and Leon; and his brothers, John C. Olafsen of North Wales and Robert Freeland of Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
