She was predeceased by: her father George R. Neal; and her husband James K. Horning. She is survived by: her children, Susan, James Jr. and George (Betsy). She is also survived by four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

“My sincere condolences to the Horning family. Your Mom was the sweetest woman. I loved when she drove my school bus. She encouraged my Mom to send us to vacation bible school at the ECC Church in Plymouth Meeting. One of the best times of my life and I still know then words to many of those songs. I have very fond memories of Mrs. Horning. The last time I saw her was at my Mom's 80th Birthday party, 6 years ago. I wish your family peace, love and good memories. Ruth Ann Bertino Palmer”
