He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McHenry and Betty McHenry (Holben); his in-laws, John and Elsie Hettish; his sister Sandy Freemer; and his brother-in-law John Hettish.
He is survived by: his wife Mary McHenry (Hettish); his children, Daniel McHenry (Payge Strogish) and Dana Sommer (Matthew); his grandson Oliver Sommer of Pittsburgh; his brothers, Ronald McHenry (Patty) of Falls Creek and Denny McHenry (Bonnie) of Punxsutawney; and his in-laws, Karen Mennetti (Mike) of Anita, Yvonne Hettish of Virginia and Bridget Hettish of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
