Durrell leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Durrell’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Durrell will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Benner and Melba Benner (Slotter) of Richlandtown, PA.; his brothers, Dalton and Dale; and his nephew Dalton Benner Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Susan Benner (Ludwig); and his brother Jerry Benner (Donna) of Coopersburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews as well as a great grandniece and 2 great grand nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A masonic service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 3:00 PM.
