He was predeceased by: his wife Mary E. Schadl (Knoblach); his parents, Joseph Schadl and Josephine Schadl (Solderitch); and his siblings, Rose Cherry, Stella Frassetto, Josephine Newhard, Joseph Schadl, Alfred Schadl, Edward Schadl and Frieda Mertz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Heavener (Robert), Rosemary Dotterer (James), Susan Barker and Frances Leonard (James); and his sister Anna Rechtor. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 26 Great-Grandchildren.
