It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona A. Keppel of Coplay, Pennsylvania, born in Whitehall, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John Molchany and Anna Molchany (Berdy); her husband Frank Keppel; her stepmother Susan Molchany (Kuchera); and her sister Barbara Kurtz.
She is survived by : her children, David Keppel of Allentown, Anne Denny (John) of Bethlehem, Doreen Polaha (Michael) of Newport Beach, CA, Michelle Heaney (Gene) of Bethlehem, Philip Keppel (Jill) of Burbank, CA, Jennifer Lucas (Chris) of Bellefonte and Kevin Keppel (Shannon) of Coplay; her grandchildren, Ryan Denny, Victoria, Rebecca Polaha, Stephen, Tyler, Evan Heaney, Brandon Lawton, Taylor, Owen Keppel, Marissa, Jamison Lucas, Lilah and Emmy Keppel; her brother John Molchany (Mary) of Menomonee Falls, WI; and her brother-in-law George Kurtz of Northampton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
