She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Check and Rose Check; and her husband William F. Schirmacher. She is survived by: her children, William F. Schirmacher and Veronica Gathagan (Nick); and her grandchildren, Barbra Schirmacher and Liam Edward Gathagan.
