He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford George and Beulah Shaffer (Webber); his grandson Albert Succheralli Davidson; his siblings, Clyde W. Shaffer, Kenneth M. Shaffer, Donald B. Shaffer and Betty McGarry; and his son-in-law Richard Risinger.
He is survived by: his wife Doris E. Shaffer (Learn); his daughters, Pamela Shaffer of Allison Park, Deborah Risinger of Homer City, Lori Davidson (Albert) of Ernest and Lisa Erickson (Carl) of Tyrone; his grandchildren, Joseph, Zachury (Kristina), Emily, Joshua (Cherish), Mitchell, Amanda, Nathaniel, Ian and Jayna; and his great grandchildren, Danika, Izabella, Delylah, Isaiah, Talon, Carson and Benjamin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bowser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (4606 Old US 119 Hwy S, Homer City, PA 15748). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the Luther Chapel Cemetery (168 Power Plant Rd, Blairsville, PA 0).
