She is survived by: her children, Keisha Moeray Cottom, Andrea Grace Brown and Tynal Brown; her grandchildren, D'Amante, Da'Mahj, Caliua, Lamont, Anya, Da'Neko, Da'Kari, Monarae, Alaya Lynn, Daylee, Kinslee and Kiylee; her father Harold Cottom Jr.; and her siblings, Andrea Cottom Anderson (Melvin), Marpessa Adams, Harold Cottom III (Marina) and Stephen J. Cottom (Lisa).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the family to defray costs for the funeral.
