Sylvia D. Boronsky Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Sylvia D. Boronsky (Coraopolis, Pennsylvania) is shared. Sylvia, born on December 26, 1922, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Sylvia will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Sylvia by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Sylvia is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Sylvia’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley J. Boronsky; and her siblings, Florence Navadauskas and Raymond Borkowski. She is survived by: her sons, Gerard Boronsky (Rosemary) and Gregory Boronsky; her grandchildren, Matthew Boronsky (Mara) and Gabrielle Boronsky; and her great grandchild Walter Boronsky.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDermott Funeral Home (334 Forest Grove Rd, Coraopolis, PA 15108). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Malachy Church (343 Forest Grove Rd, Coraopolis, PA 15108).
