Joan will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her husband Geoffrey Lewis Sowers; her parents, Claude Stauffer and Dorothy Frey Stauffer; and her sisters, Barbara and Virginia.
She is survived by: her children, David and Angela. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (1500 Quentin Rd, Lebanon, PA 17042).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joan's honor to the Church of the Good Shepherd or Cornwall Manor.
