She was predeceased by: her husband Frederic Shoemaker; her parents, Charles Beard and Helen Beard (Engle); and her brothers, Harold, Russell, Bernard, Charles and Bill.
She is survived by: her children, Frederic B. Shoemaker and Jody L. Shoemaker; and her sister Dolores Miller. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
