It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John E Messatzzia (Cornwells Heights, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, John A. Messatzzia of Texas, Steven, Matthew, Andrew, Luke, Bryan Messatzzia of Delaware County and Kathleen of Pennsylvania; his mother Helen Blackburn; and his siblings, George Messatzzia of Bucks County, Frank Cassel of Bucks County, Kim Brown of Bucks County and Beth Raszewski of Pike County. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home (2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to mental health organizations in his memory in the hope that others might find more peace along their journey.
