With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Lawrence Carter of Corry, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on October 1, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Carter and Lilian Carter (Morris); and his children, Terri Sue Carter and Kenneth Blain Carter. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Christina Carter (Grow); his sons, Timothy Carter (Destiny), Michael Carter (Margaret) and Nathan Carter (Tina); and his siblings, Sandy Silvis (Ken), Fred Carter (Shelly) and Gary Carter (Alexa). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends and coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bracken Funeral Home Inc. (315 N Center St, Corry, PA 16407). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
