With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence E. Smith of Corry, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Montgomery and Alice Montgomery (Whitesell); her husband Richard "Dick" Smith; her children, Barbara Smith, Gayle Miscik and Richard "Todd" Smith; her daughter-in-law Rose Smith; her siblings, Doris Matthews, Twila Montgomery, Mary Blair, Lawrence Montgomery, David and Donald Montgomery; and her grandchildren, Andrea Smith, Tatum Miscik and Mark May.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Herrington (Dave) of Erie, PA, Carolyn Swain (Bruce) of Erie, PA, Janet Jawdy (Joe) of Corry, PA and Steven "Beaver" Smith of Corry, PA; and her siblings, Virginia Turner of Grove City, PA, Martha Smith of Hermitage, PA, Walter Montgomery (Millie) of Grove City, PA. and Clifford Montgomery (Diane) of Grove City, PA.. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
