He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Deutschlander and Loretta Deutschlander; his wife Carol Deutschlander; and his brothers, Wally, Bill and Charlie.
He is survived by: his son Jim Deutschlander (Jane); and his grandchildren, James, Daneille and Ryan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
