He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold R. Shuey and Charlotte C. Shuey (Bloom); his wife Alice P. Brown; and his daughter-in-law Lyn Bloom. He is survived by: his children, Anna Witherite of Corry, PA, Charlotte Emel (Todd) of Port Matilda, PA and Jeff Bloom of Aransas Pass, TX; and his siblings, Robert "Jed" Shuey (Nita) of Center Hall, Ruth Carson of Swansboro, NC and Alice "Sue" Holt (Danny) of Philipsburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
