Jim Burton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Burton (Corry, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Burton (Bittner) and Shirley Troyer (Proper); his sister Harriet Harding; his son-in-law Timothy Bell; and his brother-in-law James Diehl.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Burton (Troyer); his siblings, Reverend Charles Burton and Barbara Ann Diehl (Burton); his children, Robert Burton (Keith Varney) and Tammy Stoddard (Steve); his grandchildren, Ashley Jang (Scott), Nicholas Burton, Elizabeth Burton, Ryan Bell (Lauren) and Alyssa Royek (Alan); and his great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Payton Bell and Aubrey Royek.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church (203 W Washington St, Corry, PA 16407).
