She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Sullivan and Mary Sullivan (Vogt); her husband James Dennis Simmons Sr.; and her brother Thomas Sullivan. She is survived by: her children, James Simmons Jr. (Michelle) of Corry, PA, William Simmons (Marci) of Corry, PA and Michelle Simmons of Spartanburg, PA; her siblings, Joseph Sullivan (Kris) of Trinity, FL, Shirley Griffith of Corry, PA and Mary Louise of Mazatlán, Mexico.; her grandchildren, James Simmons III of Spartanburg, PA, Michael Simmons of Corry, PA, Todd Lindenberger of Erie, PA, Carley Simmons-Scharrer of Bear Lake, PA and Billie-Jo Akam of Spartanburg, PA; and her great grandchildren, Connar, Aspyn, Eli, Brantley, Skylar, Carter and Amelia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
