He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriett Borton (Smith) and Glenn Borton; his wife Barbara Rogers (Winans); his son Lawrence Raymond Rogers; his brothers, James Rogers and Robert "Bobby" Borton; his granddaughter Brittany Rogers; and his great grandchild Clara Rose McEldowney.
He is survived by: his children, Louise Benward (Joe), Larry Joe Rogers (Wendy) and John Rogers (Jolynne); his stepchildren, Becky Peterson, Sherrie Crowe (Steve), Joy Linkerhoff (Tim), Lonnie Peterson and Ryan Peterson; and his grandchildren, Randy, Ryan, Brandon, Justin, Anna, Alexandra Rose, Lisa, Amy, Nick (Amanda), Kira (Trevar), Colin (Hannah), Trenton (Alexcia), Riley, Lucas, Sydney (Jake), Hayden and Taige. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bracken Funeral Home, Inc. (315 N Center St, Corry, PA 16407). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
