She was predeceased by: her parents, John Olszewski and Susan Olszewski (Janiak); her children, Kathy Nelson and Jack Nelson Jr.; and her siblings, Shirley Toops, Doris Conn and Robert Olszewski.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte "Char" Rynders (Erik) of Corry, PA, Gary Nelson (Sue) of Beaufort, SC, Ronald Nelson (Barbara) of Swannanoa, NC, William "Bill" (Terri) of Corry, PA and Craig Nelson (Lisa) of Macungie. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
