He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde E. Dahl and Fern Hunt Dahl; his wife Kathleen R. Dahl (Akam); his son Terry L. Dahl; his brothers, Edwin F. Dahl and Carl W. Dahl; and his grandson Michael James King.

He is survived by : his children, Gerry Dahl (Kathleen) of Corry, Milton D. "Dean" Dahl (Vicki) of Canton, OH, James LeRoy King (Laureen) of Corry, Steven LeRoy King (Sherry) of Lake City and Karen Sue King Dyer (Leonard) of Goodyear, AZ; and his grandchildren, Erin Boylin, Patrick Dahl, Andrew Dahl, Kevin Dahl, Leah A. Dyer-Johnson, Jereme L. Dyer, Tyler J. Dyer, Amanda N. Ishman (Daneil), Ashley M. Morgan (Matt), Amy L. King, Megan Hopkins, Jack King (MaKayla), Andrew King (Emily) and Aleasha K. Cook (Christopher). He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
