In loving memory of Russell L. Chelton of Corry, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on August 1, 2025 at the age of 72. Russell leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Chelton and Hazel Chelton (Hill); and his brother Lowell Chelton. He is survived by: his wife Martha Chelton (Sherred); his children, Jessica Chelton (Gage Hazeltine) of Corry, PA and Scott Chelton (Andrea) of Corry, PA; his sister Anita Lillie (Marshall) of Greenville, PA; his sister-in-law Amy Chelton of Corry, PA.; his grandchildren, Bryce Chelton, Bradyn Chelton and Aria Hazeltine; and his pets, Homer and Rocky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Valley View Mennonite Church (24313 PA-89, Spartansburg, PA 16434). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
