With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Mauthe of Corsica, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Mauthe to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Albert and Mabel Mauthe (Johnson); his wife Amy Simpson; and his siblings, Olive Pasquerette, Mae Hamilton, Edward Mauthe and William Mauthe.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Reed (Ed Preston) of Strattanville, PA, Cindy Fleming (Craig "Toad" Hoffman) of Mechanicsville, PA, Bob Lyle (Marcie) of Wellsburgh, WV and Lisa Simpson (Chris) of Corsica; his grandchildren, Mike Reed, Bill Fleming, Melinda Reed, Ben Fleming, Krysten Long, Cory Lyle, Ashley Simpson and Zack Simpson; his great grandchildren, Brett Reed, Cole Reed, Anna Long, Sidney Long, Bailey Wrhen, McKenna Fleming, Brooks Fleming, Ryla Jo Fleming, Caleb Emery, Waylan Simpson and Nolan Simpson; and his great great grandchildren, Brayton Reed, Bransyn Reed and James Wrhen.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Corsica Global Methodist Church (337 Olean Rd, Corsica, PA 15829).
