He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Valentine and Dorothy Valentine (Culley); his sons, Jon Jr. and Tommy; and his siblings, Carl Valentine, Jr. and Caroline Beals.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Valentine (Girard); his sons, James Valentine (Denise) of Phillips, ME and Dave Valentine (Robin) of Pittsfield, MA; his stepsons, Rick Fiske, Mike Fiske (Sue), Chuck Fiske (Diane), Robert Fiske (Jean) and Joe Fiske; and his grandchildren, Rechael, MacKenzye, Jarryd, Jon III and Dustin.
