The passing of John C. Sigmund of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 23, 2025 at the age of 91. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Sigmund and Dorothy Sigmund (Rathke); and his sister Dorothy Mae Ammer. He is survived by: his children, Raymond Sigmund (Kathy), Brian Sigmund (Carmela), Paul Sigmund (Beth), Todd Sigmund (Robin Yute) and Cathy Pascarella (Jay); his former wife Marlene Jean Sigmund; and also David Sigmund (Becky). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sperling Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc. (700 Blazier Dr, Wexford, PA 15090). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Alphonsus Church of St. Aidan Parish (201 Church Rd, Wexford, PA 15090).
