He was predeceased by: his parents, John Malak and Pearl Malak (Szczesny); and his brother Paul Malak. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Malak (Glogowski); his children, Michele Garriss, Michael (Rachel) and Jon Malak; his grandchildren, Adeline, Nathan, Owen, Madison and Olivia; and his brothers, Joe and Tom Malak.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Amat Divine Grace Parish (2535 Rochester Rd, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or The Disabled American Veterans in John's name.
