She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer J. Hughes and Emma E. Hughes (Roberts); her husband Mahlon R. Evans; her son Craig Evans; her daughter-in-law Jeanie Evans (Cox); her brothers, Roger Hughes (Henrietta), Fred Hughes, Isaac Hughes and Thomas Hughes; her brother-in-law James Maurer; and her sisters, Marion Templeton and Anne Charles Browning.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard "Rick" Evans (Lucy), Jeffrey Evans (Carol) and R. Mark Evans (Mary Beth); her daughter-in-law Katherine Evans; her grandchildren, Richard Evans II, Aniko Nalevanko (Adam), Jennifer Henry (Drew), Samuel Evans (Emily), Nathaniel Evans (Crystal), Jason Evans (Nikki), Rachael Seip (Christopher), Amanda Jones (Logan) and Matthew Evans (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Luke, Brooke, Caroline, Louisa, Elias, Marc, Kensie, Karson, Reagan, Morgan, Addison, Emma, Callie and Levi; her sisters, Nancy Stephenson, Twila Claycomb and Carolyn Maurer; and her sister-in-law Lois Hughes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lloyd Cemetery (266 Manor Dr, Ebensburg, PA 15931).
