He is survived by: his mother Nancy Lois Shaffer (Morrison) of Seneca; his wife Wendy Lynn (Hardenburg); his stepchildren, Melissa Stewart (Dewey) and Bryan Weber; his daughters, Melissa Shaffer and Marcia Shaffer Heilner; his grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Lucas, Preston, Aubrey, Kennedy, Morgan, Bryan, Lyllie and Raelynn; his sisters, Debbie Snyder and Nancy "Diane" Moon; and his in-laws, Jim and Kathy Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hillman Cancer Center, AseraCare Hospice, or the Kirtland Cancer Foundation.
