He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taylor and Gladys Willsey; his wife Geraldine Taylor (Beck); and his siblings, Bruce Taylor, John Taylor, Paul Taylor, Margaret Taylor and Wilma Stevens.
He is survived by: his daughter Christine Taylor Vassen (William) of Cranesville; his grandchildren, William D. Vassen III (Talia Walters) of Pittsburgh, PA and Anastasia L. Vassen (Mason Canter) of Cranesville; his sisters, Alberta Morrison (Dave) and Vern Kinney (Cheryl); and his pet Nitro. He is also survived by son.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edder Family Funeral Home (309 Main St E, Girard, PA 16417). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name may be made to the Cranesville Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 302, Cranesville, PA 16410.
