James E. Bender Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2025, at the age of 72, James E. Bender (Cresco, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden "Buck" M. Bender and Alfreda S. Bender (Gasiorowski); his brother Michael R.; and his sister-in-law Esther L. Bender. He is survived by: his niece Jennifer B. Delp of Brooksville, FL; his nephews, Alex M. Bender (Elizabeth) of Lancaster and David M. Bender (Nicolle) of Manheim; his great-nephews, R. J. Delp and Christian Delp; and his great-niece Annie Bender.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Parish (236 PA-390, Cresco, PA 18326). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the High Acres Parks Committee for the upkeep and improvement of High Acres Park, including the Memorial Garden. 1200 Route 390, Cresco, PA 18326.
