We announce the death of Joan R. Indermaur of Cresco, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 96. Joan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Joan will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Joan will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Joan’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Kords and Mildred Kords (Richmond); her husband Otto Indermaur; and her daughter Kathleen Indermaur. She is survived by: her children, John Indermaur (Monique), Teresa Pisko (Francis) and Joan Robbins (Donald); and her brother John W. Kords (Angie). She is also survived by five grandsons, three grand-daughters, two great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Parish (212 PA-390, Cresco, PA 18326). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (236 PA-390, Cresco, PA 18326). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the St. Catherine's Cemetery (1252 Drinker Turnpike, Covington Township, PA 18444).
Donations may be made in Joan's name to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
