He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shoop and Anna Shoop (Hunt); his son Gerald R. Shoop; and his brother Stanley "Bill" Shoop. He is survived by: his children, Heidi Keiser and Greg Shoop (Brittany); his grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Eli, Noah and Gemma; and his sister-in-law Velma Shoop.
