He was predeceased by: his mother Loretta Koons Mills; his grandparents, Annie Harnish Koons and Frank Koons; his brother Bobby Mills; his aunts, Annabelle Gates and Estelle Werdebaugh; and his uncle John Koons.
He is survived by: his wife Marian French Mills; his brother Michael Koons (Wanda); and his pet Ben. He is also survived by two nephews and one grandnephew, one niece and two grandnieces.
