He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Grassey and Dorothy Grassey; his wife Gail Grassi; and his daughter Dawn Leland. He is survived by: his sons, Donald Grassey Jr. (Michelle) and Christopher Grassi; his son-in-law Norman Leland; his grandchildren, Sarah Joannidi, Bianca Mushroe, Robert Grassey, Daniel Grassey and Ethan Leland; and his great grandchildren, Isla Mae and Olive June.
