She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis J., Sr. and Mary E. McGovern (McAllister); and her brother Rev. Harry F. McGovern. She is survived by: her sons, John M., Gregory F. (Kandi) and Jeremy J. Romer (Deanna); and her siblings, Francis (Elizabeth) and Joseph McGovern (Melissa). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory can be made to the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, Oblate Development Office, 2200 Kentmere Parkway, Wilmington, DE 19806.
