He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. and Mary A. Misavage (Pluta); his wife Deborah E. (English); and his brother Carl Misavage. He is survived by: his children, Mary Misavage (George Sottung), Michael G. Misavage, Jr. (Aniela Skwarek), Tammy Norris (Ryan, Sr) and Karen Rice; his grandchildren, Ryan, Jr., Maxxwell and Grayson; his pets, Sandy and Midnight; and his friend Chris Quann.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory can be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
