He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Kathryn T. Bader (Dempsey) and John G. Bader; his wife Linda Bader (Yeager); his children, Jennifer Maslanka (Dave), John Yeager (Stephanie), Christine Bader and Raymond Prodorutti; his grandchildren, Payton of Morgan, DJ, Logan and Dylan; his grandparents, Kathleen DeBickes, John Bader and Charles "Chuck" Bader; his sisters, Thelma and Susan Bader; and also Barbara Golding. He was also cherished by other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory can be made to the Vietnam Veterans.
