He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugh N. and Mary C. Collins; his brothers, Donald and Randy Collins (Beaver); his granddaughters, Madelyn and Makayla Gerda; and his pet Kassi.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia; his children, Dustin Collins (Nicole) of Curwensville, Jamie Gerda (Rick) of Virginia, Mark Collins of Lumber City, Spencer Collins (Brandi) of Grampian and Penni Muth (Jeff) of Luthersburg; his brothers, Jim Collins (Carol) of Colorado and Dave Collins (Cindy) of Clearfield; and his grandchildren, Kacyn Collins, Megan, Aidan Gerda, Jade Collins, Shaelinn, Devin and Tyler Muth. He is also survived by his cherished Boxer.
