Emil J. Engelman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emil J. Engelman of Dallastown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Engelman and Geraldine Engelman (Burket); his wife Nancy Engelman (Barr); and his brother Leo Engelman of Altoona. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Howard (Ed) of Altoona, Alyn Nedimyer (Leo) of Lugoff, SC, Dr. Emil Eric Engelman (Robyn) of Dorr, MI and Hans K. Engelman (Karen) of Red Lion, PA; and his siblings, Melvin Engelman of Altoona, Delores Patz of Altoona, Jennifer Miller of Altoona, Deborah Engelman of Altoona, Darlene Emigh of Roaring Springs, PA and Joan Gorman of Lancaster, PA.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (126 W Main St, Dallastown, PA 17313).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Rev. Engelman may be made to Asaph Teaching Ministry 126 W. Main St. Dallastown, PA.
