She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Strausbaugh (Tom) and Diane McClure (Mike); her grandchildren, Jessica Hubbard (Adam), Andrew Strausbaugh (Misty) and Anna McClure; her great grandchildren, Allison and Logan Hubbard; her stepgreat-grandsons, Collin and Jakob Hubbard; and her siblings, Frances Thomas (Jeffrey) and Raymond Orendorff.

“Marlene was the best church secretary I had during my 42 years of ministry. We worked together at St. Luke's EUB Church in York during the 1960's. She and Walt were there for me when my wife, Marilyn, died.. I was there for her when Walt died.. Until recently, she (at age 91), and I (at age 95) ,were still exchanging frequent emails and enjoying friendship. I will miss her very much.”
