He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Schadel and Harvey Schadel; his wife Dorothy Schadel; and his siblings, Eva Faulk, Miriam Adams, Kathryn Leitzel, Harvey Jr. and Larry.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney (Yolanda), Scot, Jerry (Jeff) and Bonnie (Debra); his grandsons, Dustin (Lynnette) and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Skylar (Sarah) and Carter; and his siblings, Marvin, Noma Hoover (Kenneth), Sandra Hoffer and Cheryl Folckemer (Dean).
