She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Van Auken and Marion Brace; and her sister Ruth Bohr. She is survived by : her children, Gail Thalacker (Blake), Ellen Christy (Ted) and Neil Hawk Sr. (Lori Nguyen); her grandchildren, Kira Thalacker, Erin Thalacker, Kyle Christy, Brent Christy and Neil Hawk Jr.; and her siblings, Carole Bartis, Ralph and Paul VanAuken.
