We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2024, at the age of 87, Mary Diskin Keenan Hart of Dalton, Pennsylvania, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Diskin Keenan Hart to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Keenan and Mary Concannon Keenan; her husbands, Marc Hart and Maurice I. Hart, Jr.; her son John Albert Hart; and her sister Patricia D. Pettinato.

She is survived by : her children, Mary Anne Diamond (John), Pegeen Sheakoski (John), Patrick Hart (Alissa), Susan Carey (Will), Katie Holzman (Aaron) and Maura White (Chuck); and her sister Peggy Sheridan. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home (418 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Gregory (330 N Abington Rd, Clarks Green, PA 18411). She ran a book club founded at Tudor Book Shop from 1996 until COVID-19 stopped the meet-ups in 2020.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dalton Library, the Friends of the Poor, the Catherine McAuley House, or the Church of Saint Gregory.
