He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Gash and Elenor Uhl Gash; and his daughter Catherine Ann. He is survived by: his wife Sandy (Pillsbury); his daughter Jeanne Schmalz; his son-in-law Wayne Drews; his children, Dottie Moores (Bud) and Thomas "Tommy" Gash, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jason, Kelly Schmalz, Nicole (Matthew Kingsbury), Jenny Moores, Emily, Sofie and Penny Gash; and also Lucas.
