He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen McHugh (Onorato) and Vincent McHugh; his wife Ellie (Sidler); and his sisters, Diane Bantz and Rita Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter Dawn McHugh (Adam Woodfill); his grandsons, Ethan, Luke and Tyler Woodfill; his sons, Jacob McHugh (Mandy) and Chris McHugh; his grandson Lennon McHugh; and his siblings, Sandra Rimbey, Connie High and Vincent McHugh Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pine Barn Inn (34 Pine Barn Pl, Danville, PA 17821).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the USS Requin restoration fund at Kamin Science Center.
